The Ramada Hotel, located in Namdaemun, is a business hotel with a high occupancy rate. Its primary clientele consists of business professionals and travelers seeking accommodations near major tourist attractions.

However, the hotel, originally a residential building, was repurposed as a lodging facility, resulting in limitations in fully functioning as a hotel.

Additionally, due to partial renovations over time, the overall spatial atmosphere lacks a cohesive identity.

This project aimed to create a unified image through space branding while carrying out a phased renovation to enhance the hotel's functionality and aesthetic consistency.

Considering the symbolic significance of its location in Namdaemun, we incorporated Korean aesthetics and elements inspired by Namsan into the space. We also focused on creating an economical yet elegant atmosphere with modern elements.

Illustrations of Namdaemun and various traditional patterns were transformed into artwork and displayed throughout the space, establishing a cohesive ambiance.

The main color palette features Ramada's signature red, complemented by soft brown and deep gray, ensuring a unified and harmonious spatial design.
